Trainee Management Information Consultant
Initial Duties
The majority of the first three month of the successful candidate's employment will take place in the local offices of one of our clients in East London. Interspersed with an induction training programme, duties will include:
On-site support and floor walking
Investigating and mapping of local procedures
Development of manuals and training materials
Helpdesk cover
Data Input and Backlog Recovery
Development Opportunities
Following a successful probation /training period the successful candidate will be supported and trained to work for our clients in a combination roles according to their suitability, including:
Classroom Training
Project Management
Management Information
Oracle Report Writing
Business Objects
Sales and Account Management
Person Spec.
This is an ideal first or second job opportunity for a recent graduate, particularly one with an interest in IT and the public sector. However neither age nor educational attainment will be a barrier for any candidate who full meets the following requirements:
quick to learn and flexible thinker
good at interacting with very busy and stressed personnel who need patience and understanding
ability to communicate clearly and provide simple instructions combined with a little humour.
a genuine interest in a successful outcome to any task
self motivated and ambitious.
willing and able to travel nationwide from time to time
Conditions
40 hour week.
20 days annual leave + Public Holidays+ Xmas to N Year
Annual Salary: 21K for 6 months rising to 25K thereafter.
Mobile Phone and laptop provided (or equivalent allowance).
Some home based working.
Mainly London based, Travel Expenses paid as appropriate.
