Trainee Management Informations System Developer


Initial Duties

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to become part of our team of IT Consultants based in Stroud. This role involves Office work mainly based in Stroud but some home based work days and some out of county travel will be required (for which expenses will be paid). Duties will include:

• Assisting with Business Objects report development
• Spreadsheet manipulation
• Website maintenance


Development Opportunities

Following a successful probation/training period the successful candidate will be supported and trained to work for our clients in a combination of roles according to their suitability.

Person Spec.

This is an ideal first or second job opportunity for a recent graduate, particularly one with an interest in IT and the public sector. However neither age nor educational attainment will be a barrier for any candidate who fully meets the following requirements:

• quick to learn and flexible thinker
• good at interacting with very busy & stressed personnel who need patience and understanding
• ability to communicate clearly and provide simple instructions combined with a little humour
• a genuine interest in a successful outcome to any task
• willing and able to travel nationwide from time to time
• self motivated and ambitious


Conditions

• 40 hour week
• 20 days annual leave + Public Holidays + Xmas to New Year
• Annual Salary: £13.5 to 15k
• Mobile Phone
• Some home based working.
• Some out of county travel, Travel Expenses paid as appropriate.
